HERSHEY, PA — Women's Tennis fell to Mount St. Mary's on Monday afternoon by a score of 5-2 to close out their season.
Anna Bong and Lisa Dierick led the way in doubles, scoring a dominant 6-0 victory, though the Broncs were unable to secure the doubles point.
Dierick and Daniela Naves captured Rider's two wins in singles, with Dierick scoring an impressive 6-3, 6-1 victory to close out her freshman campaign. Naves ends her season having won five out of her last six singles matches, including a 6-2, 1-6, 6-2 decision in today's contest.
Women's Tennis finishes the season with a 1-7 record in the MAAC, and a 3-18 record overall. The Broncs finished eighth out of nine teams in the conference, though many key players are poised to return next season.
