LOUDONVILLE, NY — Women's Tennis was defeated by Siena on Friday afternoon by a score of 4-3.
The day started on the right foot for the Broncs, who took two out of three doubles matches to earn the first point of the day. Elle Catanzarite and Anna Bong as well as Lisa Dierick and Kashish Kant each won their doubles matches 6-4.
The Broncs went on to take two matches in singles, both in dominating fashion. Dierick earned a 6-1, 6-0 victory on court #1, while Daniela Naves picked up a 6-4, 6-1 victory of her own. Siena took the other four singles matches to clinch the win, picking up their second conference victory of the season.
Women's Tennis returns home on Sunday to face Quinnipiac, who are currently undefeated in MAAC play.
