Quotes and Notes
"We had a lot of really good performances today. We had some great weather and some great opportunities for success today and it was nice to see the athletes take advantage of the opportunities. This was a big step forward for the team and we need to continue to build on this success.
Damere had a big weekend following up yesterday's success with another win in the shot and a PR in the discus. He is a guy that we need to be a big scorer for us in many events.
It was nice to see some of our younger athletes get wins in their events. Isaac had a nice hurdle victory, Frankie ran a really nice 1500, Melvin also got a win in the 800, Savien in the discus, and Mamadi had a really big performance and win in the 400 hurdles. Mamadi's time was the 10th mark all-time at Rider. It is always great to see young athletes taste success with the hope that some really big results are on the horizon."
