EDISON, NJ – Christian Aiello earned his second MAAC Pitcher of the Week honor of the season following a dominant relief performance in Rider's game two victory over Fairfield, the league office announced this afternoon.

Aiello was dominant straight out of the bullpen, entering in the sixth inning with no outs and runners on first and second. In a pressure-packed moment, the senior left-hander struck out all three batters he faced to escape the jam and preserve a 4-3 lead.

From there, Aiello took complete control, firing 4.0 shutout innings while allowing just two hits and striking out 10 of the 16 batters he faced to secure the win.

The Broncs return to action on April 14th in a midweek match up with Seton Hall. 
First pitch is set for 4 p.m. on ESPN+
