LAKELAND, FL — Women's Tennis was defeated by Morgan State in the second half of back-to-back matches to wrap up the Spring Break road trip.

Lisa Dierick and Daniela Naves earned Rider's lone win in doubles, defeating Lauryn Hall and Marta Serra Carles 7-5, though it would not be enough to secure a point.

In singles, Daniela Naves rebounded from a tight loss in the second set to earn a hard-fought 6-4, 5-7, 7-6 (10-8) victory. Elle Catanzarite earned her third singles win in the last four matches by coming back from dropping the first set to win 3-6, 6-4, 1-0 (11-9).

Women's Tennis will return to Lawrenceville for its second home contest of the spring this Sunday against Norfolk State.
