EDISON, NJ – The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) announced weekly awards for women's tennis Wednesday and Rider's Lisa Dierick was named Jersey Mike's MAAC Rookie of the Week for her performance over the last seven days.
 
At NJIT, Dierick and teammate Kashish Kant earned a 6-4 win at first doubles. In Rider's win at Monmouth, the duo picked up another win at the top doubles flight, winning 6-1. Dierick was just as good in singles play at Monmouth, winning in straight sets 6-2, 6-3 at number one.
