BRONX, N.Y. – Men's Tennis fell to Fordham Friday afternoon, 4-3, in their final match of February.

The Broncs won two singles matches in straight sets to highlight the day: Cole Thurgur cruised to a 6-2, 6-3 win over Filip Horak, while Mattheus Froberg Dahlin defeated Mateusz Gradzki 6-4, 6-3. Roger Martinez earned a hard-fought 6-4, 4-6, 1-0 (10-8) victory over Nicolas Garnier to finish February with a perfect 2-0 record after earning a win at Drexel earlier in the month.

However, the Broncs struggled to build momentum in three singles matches and doubles. Martinez and Heath Paul Waters came closest to earning a win in doubles, fighting to a tiebreak before ultimately losing 7-6 (7-2), and the remaining singles matches ended in straight sets.

Men's Tennis returns to action with its first home match of the season on March 13th against Hofstra before heading to Florida for a three-match slate.
