BETHLEHEM, PA – Rider Women's Tennis fell to Lehigh in their spring opener by a score of 4-3 on Saturday afternoon.

Freshman Lisa Dierick had the best performance for the Broncs, taking down Lena Dogadalski in short order with a 6-1, 6-2 victory. Dani Naves also won in straight sets, carrying momentum from winning a tiebreak in the first to win 7-6 (7-3), 6-1 over Ronit Khromchenko.

After losing the first set, Anna Bong came back to defeat Alice Ann Pantsari by winning a tiebreak in the second before dominating the third to win 1-6, 7-6 (7-4), 6-2.

Rider Women's Tennis returns to action next Friday, with a match in Queens against the St. John's Red Storm.
