What You Need To Know
- Rider returns to MAAC play Friday, when it travels to Manhattan.
- Mount St. Mary's defeated the Broncs, 71-61, on Jan. 24, in spite of a game-high 22 points from
Zion Cruz and 20 points from
Flash Burton.
- The Broncs picked up their first Division I win of the season on Jan. 14, defeating Iona, 72-68.
Flash Burton led Rider with 21 points,
Zion Cruz added 16 and
Shemani Fuller a8dded a double-double of 13 points and 13 rebounds.
- Rider hung with Saint Peter's on Jan. 17, surging ahead by six in the second half before the Peacocks finished the game on a 13-2 run to take the 69-58 victory.
Flash Burton led Rider with 17 points, while
Davis Bynum added a double-double of 11 points and 10 rebounds.

Flash Burton scored a career-high 27 points as the Broncs erased a 14-point second-half deficit at Fairfield (Jan. 9), before falling, 68-62.

- Rider leads the all-time series with Manhattan, 39-28. The Broncs had won five straight against Manhattan prior to an 80-79 heartbreaking setback to the Jaspers Jan. 5, 2025, at Alumni Gym on Jaden Winston's deep three-pointer with 6.8 seconds remaining. The loss was the only meeting between the two teams last year. Manhattan took the first game of this season's series in Lawrenceville, 74-71. Rider led for 29:55 of game time to the Jaspers' 3:51 with a lead.
- Jaden Winston leads Manhattan at 15.3 ppg., 3.5 apg. and 2.5 spg. Devin Dinkins (13.0 ppg.), Terrance Jones (10.9 ppg.), Fraser Roxburgh (10.8 ppg. 5.6 rpg.) and Anthony Isaac (10.0 ppg., 7.7 rpg.) also average in double figures.
- The Broncs were picked 10th in the MAAC Preseason Coaches' Poll.
