LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ – The Rider University men's swimming and diving team was defeated in its final home meet of the 2025-26 season Tuesday night, falling to Fordham, 124-115. The Broncs drop to 2-4 on the year, while the Rams improve to 3-5 on the season.
Rider won four events in the meet.
To open the meet,
Sebastian Canosa (Morristown, NJ/Morristown),
Billy Ruddy (Newton, NJ/Kittatinny Regional),
Tivon Benjamin (Palm Bay, FL/St. Anthony's Secondary School), and
Cesar Alvarez (Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic/The Ashton School) swam 1:31.92 in the 200-medley relay to earn the victory.
Ruddy and Alvarez went one-two in the 50-free with times of 21.21 and 21.52.
Canosa earned the win in the 100-back with a winning time of 51.61.
Rider went one-two in the 100-breast with
Matthew Borovik (Deerfield, IL/Deerfield) swimming 56.38 and
Maxwell Connelly (Kinnelon, NJ/Kinnelon) stopping the clock at 57.10.

Filippo Sala (Davie, FL/Nova Southeastern University School) was third in the 1,000-free.

Dawid Turos (Riverwoods, IL/Deerfield) and
Ethan Rogowski (Waterford, NY/Shenendehowa) swam two-three in the 200-free. Turos also swam second in the 100-free.

Joey Milhomens (Wolcott, CT/Wolcott) was third in the 200-IM.
- Benjamin and Rogowski finished two-three in the 100-fly.

Riley Rowan (Simpsonville, SC/Clonlara) was third in the 100-back.

Luke Mesco (Mullica Hill, NJ/Mother of Divine Grace) was second in the 500-free.
- On the 3-meter, Xantheas was second and Figueroa took third.
