What You Need To Know
- Friday's game will be the conference opener for both teams.
- The Broncs were picked to finish third in the NEC Preseason Coaches Poll under new head coach Gina Carey-Smith. Rider finished second in the NEC last season. The Skyhawks were picked tied for sixth in the poll.
- Rider has won its sixth-straight season opener, defeating Colgate, 3-0, to open the season. Goalie Jade Regnart (Cape Town, South Africa/Fairmont) earned her fifth career shutout in the contest. She has played all but 15 minutes in net for the Broncs this season. She was named NEC Defensive Player of the Week for her effort.
- - Semra Said (Mannheim, Germany/Feudenheim Gymnasium Mannheim) scored the game-winning goal against Colgate to earn NEC Offensive Player of the Week honors.
- Rider returns a pair of First-Team All-NEC performers from a season ago in Valeria Perales (Madrid, Spain/IES Mirasierra) and Megan Normile (New Egypt, NJ/New Egypt), who were both named to the NFHCA 2025 Collegiate Watchlist, powered by Performance Sports Events.
- Ang Borisow (Harleysville, PA/Souderton) leads the Broncs this season with two goals and five points.
- Anna Finn (Windsor, NY/Windsor Central) leads Rider with a pair of assists and a defensive save on the year.
- In all, eight Broncs have recorded at least one point this season.
- Rider's roster features players from four different countries, Germany, South Africa, Spain, and the United States.
- Rider leads the all-time series over Stonehill, 2-1, but the Skyhawks earned their first-ever win over the Broncs last season with an overtime victory in Easton. Said has played some of her best games against the Skyhawks with three career goals in three games against Stonehill.
- Stonehill is 0-5 on the season entering Friday's game. The Skyhawks have been outscored 19-3 on the year, but are coming off a 3-2 overtime loss last time out against Holy Cross.
