D’Amelio and Lisicky Log Top Finishes at Jasper Fall Invitational in New York

MIDDLETOWN, NY – The Rider University men's cross country team notched a 4^th place finish at Saturday's Jasper Fall XC Invitational, with Santino D'Amelio and Dominik Lisicky logging eleventh place and seventeenth place finishes respectively amongst the field of 140 runners in the men's 8000 meter race.

"The men raced well today. They packed up and worked together. We had strong second halves of the race for the most part. We do have some things to work on but we're doing well right now. Santino had another strong race today. He really did a great job of moving up over the second half. He's made a big jump from last year and he's looking for another big jump during the remainder of the season. Dom raced well today. He moved up throughout the race and he was with the people that mattered over the last 2000 meters. He's going in the right direction. The men made some good progress from last week and we have some things to work on over the next few weeks." – Head Coach Bob Hamer

Santino D'Amelio finished the 8000m race in 11^th place with a time of 25:35.7 while Dominik Lisicky finished Saturday's race in 17^th with a time of 25:47.0.
Ethan Peffley came in at 32^nd with a time of 26:09.3 while Matt McCarron finished in 33^rd with a time of 26:10.2. David Rodenhaver finished in 49^th with a time of 26:34.1, Matthew Mastroly finished in 57^th with a time of 26:42.3, and Nico Hidalgo finished in 61^st to round out the middle finishers for the Broncs with a time of 26:48.2.
Dylan Guarquila notched a time of 27:11.8, finishing in 76^th while Alberto Castillo finished in 80^th with a time of 27:20.7. Will Portman finished in 89^th with a time of 27:31.5 while Frankie DiSilvestro finished in 109^th with a time of 28:07.6 and Jake Wickersham finished the race in 113^th with a time of 28:12.0.
The Broncs Top-7 notched a total race time of 3:03:47 with an average time of 26:16 on a spread of 1:13.
