LEXINGTON, KY – The American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) has announced that more than 1,450 teams, including Rider University, have earned the AVCA Team Academic Award sponsored by INTENT for the 2024-25 season.

This is the 13^th time Rider has been recognized with the Team Academic Award, including the second-straight season. The award, initiated in the 1992-93 academic year, honors volleyball teams that maintain a year-long grade-point average of 3.30 on a 4.0 scale or 4.10 on a 5.0 scale.
