DANBURY, CT - The Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) announced its 2025 Division I Baseball All-ECAC Team Wednesday morning, with
Joe Tiroly earning a spot on the prestigious team following a historic season for the Rider baseball team.
Tiroly, the 2025 MAAC Player of the Year, was the league's only unanimous First Team All-MAAC selection and also earned a spot on the MAAC All-Academic Team. He was named MAAC Player of the Week three times (3/11, 4/15, 5/13) and started all 52 games for Rider.
He led the Broncs in nearly every major offensive category, batting .377 with a team-high 75 hits, 70 RBIs, 18 home runs, 66 runs scored, and 16 doubles. The sophomore also posted an impressive .749 slugging percentage and a .481 on-base percentage.
Tiroly recorded a hit in 43 of 52 games, including a season-high four hits at Canisius (5/11) and a season-best seven RBIs at Manhattan (4/13). He homered twice in three separate games and broke the program's single-season RBI record at Canisius (5/9), followed by setting the single-season runs record in the MAAC Tournament against Quinnipiac (5/23).
