Men's Basketball Announces Nine Additions For 2025-26

Baggett adds six transfers, three freshmen for upcoming season

LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ – Rider University Men's Basketball Head Coach Kevin Baggett has announced the additions of 10 incoming student-athletes for the 2025-26 academic year. The class includes six transfer student-athletes, including five with previous Division I experience and four freshmen. Transfers Davis Bynum, Shemani Fuller, Daniel Helterhoff, Caleb Smith, Devean Williams and Antwan Wilson join true freshmen AB Coulibaly, Kristupas Kepežinskas and Jamir McNeil to comprise the nine-member incoming class. The class combines with returning senior Zion Cruz and sophomores Flash Burton, Cole McCabe and Maurizio D'Alessandro to comprise the roster for the upcoming season.

Davis Bynum
O'Fallon, IL/East St. Louis (Cal State Fullerton)
Sophomore, Forward, 6-9, 210 lbs.


- Averaged 5.5 points and 2.9 rebounds per game in 11 games played as a freshman at Cal State Fullerton in 2024-25
- Scored in double figures in three-straight against Oregon State (Nov. 15), Idaho State (Nov. 18) and UCLA (Nov. 22), grabbing a season-high eight rebounds against the Bruins
- Averaged 12.3 points and 8.5 rebounds per game in his senior season at East St. Louis High School, finishing 18th in the state in blocks per game


Shemani Fuller
Bronx, NY/Cardinal Hayes (Western Michigan/Clark Atlanta)
Redshirt Senior, Forward, 6-9, 210 lbs.


- 2025 Third Team All-Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) at Clark Atlanta
- Played two seasons at Clark Atlanta, averaging 12.0 points, 8.1 rebounds (4th-conference) and 1.3 blocks (1st-team) per game in 2024-25
- Began collegiate career at Western Michigan, averaging 1.4 ppg., 2.8 rpg. In 11 games off the bench as a true freshman
- Played at New York City Catholic League powerhouse Cardinal Hayes, helping the Cardinals to the 2019 league title
- Also played a prep year at Woodstock Academy and played AAU for the New York Lightning of the Nike EYBL Circuit


Daniel Helterhoff
Cologne, Germany/Urspringschule (USC Upstate/Our Lady of the Lake)
Senior, Forward, 6-10, 240 lbs.


- Averaged 4.1 points and 2.4 rebounds, shooting 46.2 percent from the floor in 29 games played, including 14 starts, in 2024-25 at USC Upstate
- Upped his season averages to 6.9 points and 2.6 rebounds per game in starting the final 10 games of the year for the Spartans
- Scored a season-high 15 points in the regular-season finale vs. High Point
- Played his first two collegiate seasons at Our Lady of the Lake in Texas, averaging 10.1 points and 5.8 rebounds, while shooting 48.4 percent from the floor and 79.5 percent from the free-throw line in 24.1 minutes per game in 2023-24
- Averaged 20.0 points and 14.3 rebounds during his interscholastic career at Urspringschule in Schelklingen, Germary)
- Competed for the German U18 National Team, helping the team to a third-place finish at the FIBA European Challenger


Caleb Smith
Atlanta, GA/Fredrick Douglass (Pratt CC/Garden City CC)
Junior, Guard, 6-5, 205 lbs.


- Played a pair of junior college seasons in Kansas, beginning at Pratt Community College as a freshman, before moving on to Garden City CC in 2024-25
- Averaged 14.5 points, 6.3 rebounds and 2.2 assists per game in 31 games at Pratt in 2023-24
- Contributed 12.7 points, 4.4 rebounds and 3.0 assists per game in 26 games at Garden City in 2024-25


Devean Williams
Los Angeles, CA/Narbonne (Canisius/Bryant)
Senior, Guard, 6-3, 180 lbs.


- Played his first two collegiate seasons at Canisius, before transferring to Bryant in 2024-25
- Started 10 of 25 games played in his sophomore season at Canisius, averaging 7.4 points, 2.2 rebounds, 1.6 assists and 1.2 steals per game
- Scored in double figures 10 times in 2023-24, including each of the team's final seven contests and a 20-point output vs. Mount St. Mary's
- Shot 40.4 percent from the field and 31.2 percent from long range in 2023-24
- Was injured in the 2024-25 season opener at Bryant and missed the remainder of the season
- Played scholastically at TMG Basketball Prep and Narbonne High School in California
 

Antwan Wilson
Salisbury, MD/Wicomico (Maryland Eastern Shore/Weatherford College)
Junior, Guard, 6-5, 190 lbs.


- 2025 NTJCAC Newcomer and Defensive Player of the Year
- 2025 First Team All-Conference & All-Region 5
- Averaged 15.5 points, 4.5 rebounds and 2.6 assists per game, while shooting 45.6 percent from the floor, 30.7 percent from long range and 76.3 percent from the free throw line in 2024-25 at Weatherford
- Saw action in 15 games off the bench as a true freshman at UMES, averaging 2.0 points and 1.1 rebounds
- Scored over 1,000 points in his high school career at Wicomico, led the State of Maryland in scoring as a senior at more than 30 points per game and earned All-State First Team honors


Abdrahaman "AB" Coulibaly
Philadelphia, PA/West Philadelphia/Avon Old Farms
Freshman, Guard/Forward, 6-5, 185 lbs.


- 2024 First Team All-Public League at West Philadelphia
- Averaged 18.9 points, 8.3 rebounds and 3.0 assists per game, while shooting better than 58 percent from the floor as a senior at West Philadelphia
- Played a post-grad season at Avon Old Farms in Connecticut, earning First Team All-Founders League


Kristupas Kepežinskas
Kaunas, Lithuania/Ugnes Karvelis
Freshman, Guard, 6-0


- Led Lithuania to a gold medal at the U17 World Championships
- Most recently played for the AS Monaco U21 Team
- Played two seasons for the Zalgiris Kaunas 3rd team in the Lithuanian RKL league
- Competed for Zalgiris Kaunas U18 team in Lithuania, where he averaged 11.8 points, 3.2 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 2.3 steals over 15 games during the 2022-23 season, helping his team win the U18 League title
- Represented Lithuania at the FIBA U18 European Championships


Jamir McNeil
Cape May Courthouse, NJ/Middle Township
Freshman, Guard, 6-0, 160 lbs.


- 2025 Press of Atlantic City Boys Basketball Player of the Year
- Jersey Sports Zone All-Zone Team
- Finished with nearly 1,700 points, 500 assists and 300 steals and more than 500 rebounds in his four years at Middle Township
- Averaged 20.9 points, 4.7 rebounds, 3.8 assists and 2.5 steals per game as a senior in 2024-25
- Led the Panthers to a 28-3 record, the Cape-Atlantic League playoff tournament championship and a berth in the South Jersey Group II title game as a junior
- Was an integral part of a Panther squad that won the 2023 South Jersey title as a sophomore
