LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ – In the most recent NCAA report, Rider Athletics posted a department-best 986 Academic Progress Rate (APR) for the second-straight year, meeting the NCAA's Academic Based Revenue Distribution threshold (985 single-year average) for APR for the second time since the inception of the distribution program in 2019-20.
Six Rider programs (Men's Cross Country, Men's Tennis, Women's Basketball, Women's Cross Country, Women's Swimming and Diving and Women's Volleyball) earned a perfect single-year APR of 1,000 with Women's Basketball and Women's Cross Country maintaining perfect 1,000 multi-year rates, which encompasses the most recent four years of APR data. Both programs were issued NCAA Public Recognition for being in the top ten percent of their sport's multi-year APR.
