LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ – In a first-of-its-kind partnership for the Rider University athletic department, Rider Athletics has partnered with Eat Clean Bro to become the jersey patch sponsor for the men's basketball program for the 2026-27 season.
"Our partnership with Eat Clean Bro reflects our continued commitment to the overall well-being of our student-athletes," said Deputy Athletic Director John Hangey. "Proper nutrition plays a vital role in their health, performance, and recovery, and we are excited to provide them with the resources they need to perform at their best."
Founded by Jamie Giovinazzo in January 2013, Eat Clean Bro was built on a simple belief: when you eat right, you feel right. By making clean eating accessible, convenient, and, let's be real, freakin' delicious, they're creating a world where clean, wholesome food fuels a healthier, happier you.
"It is my deepest honor to provide healthy, nutritious meals to the dedicated student athletes of Rider University," said Giovinazzo. "At Eat Clean Bro, we believe greatness starts with proper nutrition, and we're proud to fuel these athletes as they pursue excellence both on and off the court."
"We're excited to welcome Eat Clean Bro to the Rider Basketball family," said head men's basketball coach
Kevin Baggett. "As a family-owned and operated business, they understand the value of relationships and taking care of people, values we share within our program. This partnership will help fuel our student-athletes with quality meals and support their preparation, recovery and performance throughout the season."
The jersey patch will be prominently featured on all three sets of the men's basketball team jerseys for the 2026-27 season when the season kicks off November 2 at Pittsburgh.
