- The Broncs team earned a single first-place vote and was selected second ahead of the 2025 season in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Baseball Preseason Coaches' Poll.
- Sophomore second baseman Joe Tiroly, outfielder Kyle Neri, and pitcher PJ Craig were named to the Preseason All-MAAC Team.
- The Broncs return five starters from a season ago, led by 2024 2nd Team All-MAAC selection Joe Tiroly and 2024 MAAC All-Rookie team honoree Kyle Neri.
- Tiroly finished with his 2024 campaign with a .284 batting average along with 44 runs scored, 46 hits, 42 RBIs, and 10 homeruns.
- Tiroly leads the Broncs batting an impressive .399 with 60 hits, 16 homeruns, and 66 RBI.
- Kyle Neri is second on the Bronc lineup with 63 hits and 41 RBI.
-Brian Young remains unbeaten on the mound for Rider, holding an 8-0 record with a 2.70 ERA over 76.2 innings, allowing just 23 earned runs and tallying 64 strikeouts. He also notched his 200th career strikeout during the series at Canisius.
- At the plate, Tiroly recently broke Rider's single-season RBI record and now leads the program with 66 runs driven in. Tiroly was named MAAC Player of the Week, while Young earned MAAC Pitcher of the Week honors.
- As a team, Rider is hitting .290 on the season.

Last Time Out 
- Rider is coming off a tightly contested 10-9 loss in Sunday's series finale at Canisius.
- Rider had 13 hits in the loss, with Paskell, Neri, Shuhet, Gallagher, and Leahy each recording one hit. 
- Hartmann and Magoulick each had two hits. 
- Tiroly led the way with four hits. 
- Leahy recorded one RBI, and Shuhet and Tiroly recorded two RBIs.
- Paskell led the team with three RBI. 
- Four Broncs saw action on the mound with Clayton Poliey, Colby McNeely, Jack Ruditzky, and Zach Silfies.

History vs Fairfield
- The Broncs and Stags are 21-21 in all-time series history. 
- The last meeting between the two teams came in the 2023 MAAC Championship series, where the Broncs took two of three games to capture their fourth MAAC title in program history. 
- Rider sealed the championship with a dominant 18-4 victory over the Stags in the deciding game.

About the Stags 
- Fairfield enters the weekend coming off a 9-6 loss to LIU on Tuesday, following a 2-1 series win over Niagara.
- Dean Ferrara leads the Stags offensively, hitting .388 with 90 hits, seven home runs, and 52 RBI. 
- Matthew Bucciero paces the team with 57 RBI, while Luke Nomura holds the team lead with 13 home runs. 
- Nick Sturino has racked up a team-best 18 doubles.
- On the mound, Ben Alekson leads the Stags with a 3.23 ERA over 78.0 innings, allowing just 28 earned runs while striking out 69 and posting an 8-1 record. 
- Bowen Baker has also impressed, going 7-1 with a 3.55 ERA, 25 earned runs, and 54 strikeouts in 61.2 innings.
