LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ – The Rider women's track and field team wrapped up day two of the Rider Invitational in record-breaking fashion, highlighted by a standout performance in the 4x400m relay.
The quartet of
Hailey Palmer,
Tamara Rawles,
Amari Pinkett, and Dylan Giloey shattered the program record in the event, clocking a time of 3:48.09 in the 4x400m relay event.
In the field events,
Kianna Tucker and
Gabrielle Vetere claimed the top two spots in the pole vault. Vetere cleared 3.60m to take second, while Tucker's winning mark of 3.70m ranks second all-time in Rider history.
Samara Jones added another victory for the Broncs, capturing first place in the triple jump with a leap of 12.22m.
