What You Need To Know
- Rider opens MAAC Championship action in Tuesday's Opening Round vs. No. 9 Siena.
- The Broncs won three-straight to end the year and clinch a berth, defeating Merrimack on the road before earning home wins over Canisius and Niagara.
- Most recently, T.J. Weeks Jr. scored 22 points, Tariq Ingraham added 18 and Flash Burton hit the game-winning three with 4.3 seconds left vs. Niagara. 
- The Broncs are 17-26 all-time in the MAAC Championships. Rider has been the No. 8 seed twice and played in the 8/9 game three times, all under Kevin Baggett, winning all three chances in 2013-14, 2015-16 and 2021-22. 
- The Broncs won the lone meeting between the two teams this season, 61-59, at Alumni Gym on Tank Byard's buzzer-beating putback to cut the Saints' lead in the all-time series to 39-22.
- Rider and Siena have met four times in the MAAC Championships, with the Saints taking all four. The most-recent three came on Siena's home court in Albany, with the fourth coming in 1998-99 in Buffalo.
- T.J. Weeks Jr. has been the Broncs' leading scorer, averaging 14.1 points per game. He's scored in double figures 27 times in 30 games played, including a season-high 23 points vs. Siena.
- Siena features four scorers in double figures, led by Justice Shoats at 16.0 ppg. and 4.5 apg. Major Freeman (13.2 ppg.), Brendan Coyle (12.8 ppg.) and Gavin Doty (11.2 ppg., 6.1 rpg.) also average in double digits. 
- 13th-year Head Coach Kevin Baggett's teams have posted a 205-201 record. Baggett won MAAC Coach of the Year in 2015 and 2018.
- Only John Carpenter (292) has more wins at Rider.
