- The Rider baseball team opens its third conference series of the 2025 season when they host Merrimack on Friday.

About the Broncs
- The Broncs team earned a single first-place vote and was selected second ahead of the 2025 season in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Baseball Preseason Coaches' Poll.
- Sophomore second baseman Joe Tiroly, outfielder Kyle Neri, and pitcher PJ Craig were named to the Preseason All-MAAC Team.
- The Broncs return five starters from a season ago led by 2024 2nd Team All-MAAC selection Joe Tiroly and 2024 MAAC All-Rookie team honoree Kyle Neri.
- Tiroly finished with his 2024 campaign with a .284 batting average along with 44 runs scored, 46 hits, 42 RBIs, and 10 home runs.
- Kyle Neri leads the team, batting .419 with 26 hits, three home runs, and 22 RBIs.
- Joe Tiroly has a team-best of eight home runs, 26 RBIs, and 23 hits.

- The Broncs are coming off a 4-2 loss to Stony Brook on Wednesday.
