What You Need To Know
- Rider returns to action Sunday, when it travels to intrastate rival Saint Peter's.
- The Broncs have won two straight in dramatic fashion, with Tank Byard's buzzer beater pushing Rider past Siena on Feb. 8 and a comeback from down 13 points in the second half at Iona in a 74-71 win on Feb. 14.
- T.J. Weeks Jr. has been the Broncs' leading scorer, averaging 13.8 points per game. He's scored in double figures 21 times in 24 games played, including a season-high 23 points vs. Siena.
- Rider is 9-1 this season when holding the opposition to fewer than 72 points. The loss to Merrimack was the Broncs' first when allowing fewer than 72.
- The Broncs held off Saint Peter's, 67-64 Jan. 31 for Head Coach Kevin Baggett's 200th career victory, all at Rider. He became the fourth coach to win 200 games with a MAAC program or programs and just the second to accomplish the feat at a single MAAC institution.
- Rider leads the all-time series with Saint Peter's, 45-36, including wins in each of the last six regular-season meetings with the Peacocks. Three of Saint Peter's last four wins over the Broncs have come in the MAAC Championships in 2021, 2023 and 2024.
- The Peacocks are led by Marcus Randolph at 14.8 points per game, while Armoni Zeigler has averaged 11.0 points, 6.0 rebounds and 1.6 steals per game. Bryce Eaton (10.0 ppg., 2.5 apg.) and Mouhamed Sow (7.8 ppg., 5.5 rpg.) have also made strong contributions, while Stephon Roberts has been the Peacocks' top rebounder at 6.4 rpg.
 - The Broncs were picked seventh in the MAAC Preseason Coaches' Poll.
- 13th-year Head Coach Kevin Baggett's teams have posted a 202-198 record. Baggett won MAAC Coach of the Year in 2015 and 2018.
- Only John Carpenter (292) has more wins at Rider.
