Baseball Announces 2026 Schedule

LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ – Rider University Baseball Head Coach Lee Lipinski has announced his team's 2026 schedule, featuring back-to-back season-opening road series, a return to the Liberty Bell Classic and a 10-series MAAC slate. The Broncs will open their home schedule with a three-game series against Siena, Mar. 13-15, at Sonny Pittaro Field.

Rider opens the 2026 campaign with three games at UNC Asheville, Feb. 20-22, in Asheville, NC. The Broncs then continue on the road the following weekend with a three-game series at Delaware, Feb. 27-Mar. 1, in Newark, DE. A midweek trip to Saint Joseph's on Mar. 4 in Philadelphia sets the stage for the Broncs' MAAC opener.

Conference play begins Mar. 6-8 when the Broncs travel to Sacred Heart for their first MAAC series of the year in Fairfield, CT. One week later, Rider returns to Lawrenceville for its home opener, welcoming Siena to Sonny Pittaro Field for a three-game series Mar. 13-15. The Broncs remain home to close the month of March, hosting Canisius Mar. 27-29.

The Broncs once again take part in the Liberty Bell Classic, opening the event against Delaware on Mar. 24, with site and time to be announced. Non-conference midweeks also include road contests at NJIT (Apr. 7), Princeton (Apr. 15) and a home date against Seton Hall on Apr. 14. Rider will also host in-state foe Rutgers on May 6 in a late-season non-conference matchup at Sonny Pittaro Field.

Rider's remaining MAAC home series bring Marist (Apr. 2-4), Manhattan (Apr. 17-19) and Saint Peter's (May 14-16) to Sonny Pittaro Field. On the road, the Broncs visit Mount St. Mary's (Mar. 20-22), defending MAAC Champions Fairfield (Apr. 10-12), Monmouth (Apr. 24-26 – non-conference), Niagara (May 1-3) and Quinnipiac (May 8-10) in league play to round out the 30-game MAAC slate.

The 2026 MAAC Baseball Championships are scheduled for May 20-23 at Heritage Financial Park in Wappingers Falls, NY, with the league's automatic bid to the NCAA Championships on the line.
