- Rider returns to action Saturday, when it travels to Quinnipiac.
- After opening the season at 4-2, the Broncs lost nine in a row, before bouncing back with three-straight wins. Rider then fell at home on Jan. 23 to Iona.
- RU enters in a tie for 8th in the MAAC with Manhattan and Sacred Heart.

Jay Alvarez matched his career high with 28 points on Jan. 23 against Iona.

Flash Burton scored 17 of his career-high 21 points in the second half to help the Broncs to a 64-57 win at Marist. The win snapped the Red Foxes' nine-game winning streak and was their first league setback of the season. For his effort, Burton was named MAAC Rookie of the Week.

T.J. Weeks Jr. has been the Broncs' leading scorer, averaging 13.1 points per game. He's scored in double figures 15 times in 18 games played, including a season-high 21 points at Fairfield.
- Rider is 6-0 this season when holding the opposition to fewer than 72 points.
- While Rider owns a 14-12 edge in the all-time series with Quinnipiac, the Bobcats have won eight of the last nine meetings and 10 of the last 12. The Bobcats own a 9-3 mark against Rider in Hamden, including wins in each of the last seven. The last Rider win at Quinnipiac came on Feb. 4, 2018.
- Preseason MAAC favorite Quinnipiac is now 11-8 (7-1 MAAC). The Bobcats are led by Preseason MAAC Player of the Year Amarri Monroe, who's averaged 15.5 ppg. and 7.5 rpg. Paul Otieno has added 12.8 ppg. to go along with a team-high 8.9 rpg. Khaden Bennett (11.4 ppg.) and Jaden Zimmerman (9.8 ppg.) also made strong scoring contributions. The league's 2023-24 leader in assists, Savion Lewis, missed the last meeting due to injury. He's returned and has averaged a team-high 5.2 apg. in 13 games this year.
