Saint Joseph's Defeats Women’s Soccer, 2-0

LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ – The Rider women's soccer team dropped their second consecutive match to the Saint Joseph's Hawks Thursday evening by a final of 2-0 on Ben Cohen Field. A goals in each half from the Hawks was the difference in the match. The Broncs fall to 1-2-1 on the season. 

Despite the early goal from the Hawks, the Broncs had their fair share of opportunities in the match. Eight Broncs recorded a shot, each contributing to the close shot count. Rider recorded six shots on goal and was nearly even in the shot count falling just behind the Hawks, 12-11.

"Moments, right? We give them a goal in the first half and then they get a penalty and then that's it, right? I think the game was very, very even. I think we were better today than we were against Seton Hall. Our defensive shape was good. I think we limited them to chances.
