Four Broncs Named Academic All-MAC

Klinsky, Washleski, Silverstein, and Szuba named Academic All-MAC

CLEVELAND, OH— Four members of the Rider University wrestling team were named to the Academic All-MAC team as announced by the conference office on Wednesday afternoon(April 17).

Tyler Klinsky became a three-time academic All-MAC honoree, while David Szuba and Colton Washleski earned their second academic All-MAC selection after earning the honor for the first time in 2023. Jake Silverstein also was named All-MAC earning the honor for the first time in his time at Rider.

The Academic All-MAC honor is for a student-athlete who has excelled in athletics and academics. To qualify, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA and have participated in at least 50 percent of the contests for that particular sport.
