What You Need To Know
- Rider returns home to face Marist Saturday night. 
- The Broncs have fallen in two straight on the road at Iona and Fairfield.
- Freshman DJ Dudley erupted for a season-high 28 points off the bench at Iona, shooting 6-for-11 from the floor, including 3-for-6 from long range and 13-for-14 from the free-throw line.
- Rider earned road wins at Saint Peter's and Mount St. Mary's and a convincing home win over Siena in three-straight wins, Jan. 25-Feb. 2. All 13 Broncs to see the floor vs. Siena scored at least two points. 
- Mervin James averaged 23.0 points and 8.0 rebounds against the Mountaineers and Peacocks, including 16-for-16 shooting from the free-throw line and was named MAAC Player of the Week on Jan. 29.
- James leads the MAAC at 19.0 points per game. 
- James and Allen Powell each reached 1,000 points at Rider earlier this season, while T.J. Weeks Jr. also scored his 1,000th collegiate career, spanning four years at UMass and this season with the Broncs.  
- Marist is led by Max Allen II at 11.7 points per game, while Josh Pascarelli also averages in double figures at 10.9 ppg. Jadin Collins has added 8.6 ppg. to go along with a team-high 3.0 assists per game. Jackson Price (7.1 ppg.), Jaden Daughtry (6.7 ppg., 4.7 rpg.) and Javon Cooley (6.6 ppg.) have also made solid contributions.
- Rider leads the all-time series with Marist, 42-27. The series dates back just over 42 years to Dec. 20, 1980. The Broncs are 18-5 against Marist under Head Coach Kevin Baggett, including a 9-3 mark at Alumni Gym.
- 12th-year Head Coach Kevin Baggett's teams have posted a 185-180 record. Baggett won MAAC Coach of the Year in 2015 and 2018.
- Only John Carpenter (292) and Thomas Leyden (187) have more wins at Rider.
