PHILADELPHIA, P.A- The Rider University Wrestling team started their long weekend battling with Drexel, but fell 20-16 at the DAC in University City. With the loss, the Broncs move to 5-6 and Drexel moves to 3-8 on the year.

Rider's afternoon was highlighted by #32 David Szuba picking up his fifth straight bonus point victory with a major decision over Santino Morina 18-4. Szuba dominated the entirety of the bout firing out to a 6-1 lead after the first. The Broncs heavyweight then added an escape and a third takedown in the second period and capped it off with a strong third period to win the bout 18-4

The Broncs kicked off the dual with a pair of strong wins at 149 and 157 by the Broncs-ranked duo of #33 Quinn Kinner and #28 Colton Washleski. The pair of decision victories gave the Broncs a 6-0 dual lead however the Dragons cut into that with a pair of falls at 184 lbs and 197 lbs.
