What You Need To Know
- Rider plays host to Quinnipiac Sunday afternoon at Alumni Gym on ESPN+.
- Rider has won its last three games vs. Mount St. Mary's, at Manhattan and at home vs. Iona to even its league mark at 8-8.
- The Broncs shattered the program single-game records with 76.4 percent (42-55) shooting from the floor and 32 assists on Feb. 18 at Manhattan.
- Rider backed up the shooting performance with 56.5 percent (26-46) shooting in a 78-75 win over Iona on Feb. 23. It marked the first time the Broncs have shot over 50 percent in consecutive games since the 2022 MAAC Quarterfinals and Semifinals against Iona (50.9%) and Monmouth (51.9%), respectively.

Kevin Baggett passed Thomas Leyden (1942-43, 1946-60) for second at Rider with his 188th win.
- Rider is 6-0 in MAAC play when allowing fewer than 67 points and 2-8 when allowing more 67 or more. The lone wins were an overtime victory over Canisius on Jan. 7 where Rider limited the Griffs to 65 points in regulation and a 78-75 regulation win over Iona on Feb. 23.
- Quinnipiac is led by Matt Balanc at a MAAC-leading 18.7 points per game, while Amarri Tice has added 12.8 ppg. and a team-high 7.0 rebounds and 1.8 steals per game. Paul Otieno has also added 10.8 points and 6.9 rebounds per game, while Rihards Vavers (8.9 ppg.) has also made a strong scoring contribution. Savion Lewis (8.3 ppg.) easily leads the MAAC at 7.2 assists per game.
- After Rider won 12 of the first 14 meetings in the series, including seven straight from January 2016 to January 2019, the Bobcats have won nine of the last 10, including the last seven. Three of Quinnipiac's last nine wins in the series have come in overtime, including a 90-88 decision Feb. 19, 2023, in Hamden.
