- On Friday, the Rider wrestling team will host three teams that are nationally ranked in the top 25 in Alumni Gym.

Last Time Out
- Six wrestlers competed at the prestigious Cliff Keen Invite where two Broncs reached the podium with Sammy Alvarez (149 lbs) placing 6th and Isaac Dean (184 lbs) placing 5th. 
- Liam Scrivanich (165 lbs) took home a 5th place finish at the Patriot Open along with Steyn De Lange (197 lbs) placing third and Brock Zurawski placing 6th.
- David Szuba won the 285 lbs title at the Patriot Open.

Broncs in the Rankings
- Four Broncs are in the national rankings this week with No. 19 Sammy Alvarez (149 lbs), No. 31 Colton Washleski (157 lbs), No. 28 Michael Wilson (174 lbs), and No. 24 Isaac Dean (184 lbs).

History vs South Dakota St
- This will be the first-ever meeting between the Broncs and Jackrabbits. 

About South Dakota St
- The Jackrabbits are coming off a ninth-place finish at the Cliff Keen Invite. Before the Invite, they fell to No. 9 Minnesota in a 30-3 match. 
South Dakota St has seven wrestlers in the FloWrestling rankings with No. 12 Tanner Jordan (125 lbs), No. 23 Derrick Cardinal (133 lbs), No. 14 Drake Rhodes (165 lbs), No. 8 Cade DeVos (174 lbs), No. 6 Bennett Berge (184 lbs), No. 15 Zach Glazier (197 lbs), and No. 25 Luke Rasmussen (285 lbs).
- The Jackrabbits finished 13-4 overall and 7-2 in the Big 12 a season ago.
- South Dakota St returns four NCAA qualifiers and three All-Americans from last season in Tanner Jordan, Derrick Cardinal, Cade DeVos, and Bennett Berge.
