The Bruins scored the game's first six points and never trailed. The Broncs pulled to within three, 12-9, on seven points from Weeks Jr. and a bucket inside from
Tariq Ingraham (Philadelphia, PA/Bonner-Prendergast [Wake Forest]). But UCLA outshot the Broncs, 48.5 percent (16-33) to 28.6 percent (8-28) in the first 20 minutes to build a 41-23 lead at the half. Weeks Jr. led the Broncs with 10 points, including 3-for-3 shooting from long range, in the period.

UCLA methodically worked its lead up to its largest point, the final 35-point margin, over the course of the second half. Boutayeb scored 10 of his 14 points on 4-of-6 shooting from the floor and 2-of-3 from the free-throw line in the final 20 minutes.
Quotes & Notes
"I thought those guys did a good job getting after us early on. Their pressure was effective. I think some of our guys played tight. We did not play well. They forced us into some early turnovers. Second opportunities off the glass. Obviously, they're bigger, stronger, faster than us. So, we've got to do a great job fundamentally blocking out and we didn't do that." –
