PROVIDENCE, RI – The Rider University women's swimming and diving team sits in seventh-place after two days at the Bruno Invitational hosted by Brown University. The Broncs have scored 30 points in the meet while the host Bears lead the way with 668.5 points.
In the 800-free relay Thursday night,
Hannah Yemec (Bluffton, SC/May River),
Casey McLaughlin (Ramsey, NJ/Ramsey),
Lea Opdyke (Ocala, FL/West Port), and
Casey Morgan (Sewell, NJ/Washington Twp.) combined to score points for the Broncs.
Friday,
Connar Melcher (Mohnton, PA/Governor Mifflin), Morgan, Opdyke, and Yemec scored for Rider in the 200-free relay.
In the final event of the day, the Broncs received points from multiple teams in the 400-medley relay.
