- The Broncs were selected fourth by the league's coaches in the MAAC Preseason Poll. Rider finished fifth in the regular season in 2022 before reaching the MAAC Tournament semifinals with a win over Niagara. The Broncs ultimately fell in the semifinals to eventual MAAC Champions Fairfield.
- The Broncs are 8-3 in conference play this season, including a 6-0 home conference mark, and enter Wednesday's match in third place in the MAAC this season behind just Fairfield and Quinnipiac.

- Key reserves returning for the Broncs include
Makenna Mason, who split setting duties last season in the Broncs' 6-2 lineup, outside hitters
Brynn Johnson (River Falls, WI/River Falls) and
Rylah Robinson (Fairfax, VA/Robinson), middle hitter
Mia Mattingly (Mokena, IL/Lincoln-Way Central), and defensive specialists
Simone Langford (Hollywood, FL/Falagan) and
Carly Zimmet (Purcellville, VA/Loudoun Valley).
- Giehtbrock totaled, 48 kills, 37 digs, nine aces, and six blocks as the Broncs went 3-0 during a weekly stretch to earn MAAC Player of the Week honors on Oct. 9.
- Santiago leads the Broncs this season with 238 kills. Giehbrock is second on the team with 218 and Robinson is third with 163. Giehtbrock also ranks third in the MAAC at 0.46 aces per set.
- Mason and Frye both have 361 assists on the season. Frye sits sixth in the conference at 0.44 aces per set.
- O'Connor tops the Broncs at 3.49 digs per set and 220 total digs. Her 3.49 digs per set rank fifth in the league. Langford sits right behind with 177 digs this season.
- Rohde leads the Broncs and is second in the MAAC with 86 blocks including 13 in the MAAC opener against Quinnipiac.
- Rider leads the all-time series over Saint Peter's 40-21, including a three-set win for the Broncs in their first meeting this season. The Broncs hit .455 as a team in the match, led by .800 hitting on 10 errorless swings by McAleavey and .714 hitting on 14 errorless swings by Johnson.
- Saint Peter's is led by Maliyah LaBrie, who is fourth in the MAAC at 3.26 kills per set and Elena Bilhartz, who is ninth in the MAAC in hitting percentage and sixth in the MAAC in blocks.
