What You Need To Know
- Both the Bronc men and women are 0-2 to start the season. The Red Foxes enter the meet at 1-0 on the men's side and 1-1 on the women's side with both squads topping Canisius in MAAC matchups.
- The Bronc men were picked to finish third in the MAAC Preseason Coaches Poll.
- The Broncs top returners this season are
Maxwell Connelly (Kinnelon, NJ/Kinnelon), who won the 200-breast at the ECAC Championships a season ago in addition to fourth and fifth place finishes in the 200- and 100-breast respectively at the MAAC Championships, and
Stavros Xantheas (West Orange, NJ/West Orange) who earned a silver medal on the 1-meter and bronze medal on the 3-meter in the diving events at the MAAC Championships in 2023.

Tivon Benjamin (Palm Bay, FL/St. Anthony's Secondary School) ranks fifth in the MAAC this season after swimming 51.58 in the 100-fly against the Pirates.

Billy Ruddy (Newton, NJ/Kittatinny Regional) won two individual events, including a 20.97 swim in the 50-free, second fastest in the MAAC this season, and was part of two winning relays in Rider's dual meet against Lehigh last Friday to secure MAAC Swimmer of the Week honors.
- The Rider women were picked to finish eighth in the preseason coaches poll.

Hannah Yemec (Bluffton, SC/May River) will lead the women's effort in the pool this season after earning a silver medal in the 100-fly along with two other B-Final performances at the MAAC Championships last year.
- In the season opener at Seton Hall,
Maiti O'Connor (South Plainfield, NJ/The Wardlaw-Hartridge School) won the 1-meter diving event with a score of 230.02 and took third in the 3-meter with a score of 203.70 to earn MAAC Diver of the Week honors. She followed up that performance with a win in the 1-meter against Lehigh, scoring 245.10, along with a score of 254.63 to take second on the 3-meter to earn MAAC Diver of the Week honors for the second time this season.
- Last season, Rider was topped 156-138, by Marist on the men's side. The Broncs were strong in the backstroke at the meet when
Nicholas Lane (Hackettstown, NJ/Lane Academy) and
Christian Overton (Westampton, NJ/Rancocas Valley) went one-two in the 100, then
David Rucci (Sewell, NJ/Gateway Regional),
Derek Fantano (Morris, CT/Holy Cross), and Overton swept the 200.
- The Rider women were defeated by Marist, 158-142, last season. Yemec was dominant in the meet, winning the 100-fly, 200-fy, and 100-free, as well as swimming the leadoff leg on the winning 400-free relay team.
