What You Need To Know
- Rider continues MAAC play Friday, when it plays host to Siena.
- The Broncs snapped a two-game skid by winning consective road games at Saint Peter's (62-57) and Mount St. Mary's (66-62).

Mervin James averaged 23.0 points and 8.0 rebounds over the two wins, including 16-for-16 shooting from the free-throw line and was named MAAC Player of the Week. James leads the MAAC at 19.5 points per game.
- After scoring in double figures in each of the first 16 games of the year and reaching at least 15 points 15 times in that span, James scored eight in consecutive games against Marist and Niagara, before bouncing back at Saint Peter's.

T.J. Weeks Jr. scored his 1,000th collegiate career Jan. 12 vs. Manhattan. He scored the first 843 points in four years at UMass before transferring to Rider.

Allen Powell became the 42nd Rider player to score 1,000 career points against Stonehill on Dec. 8. Already a 1,000-point scorer for his collegiate career entering the season, including 620 in two seasons at North Alabama, James became Rider's 43rd 1,000-point scorer with his 1,000th as a Bronc Dec. 29 at Penn State.
- Just three Saints have played all 20 games. Sean Durugordon was ineligible last time the two teams played, but now averages a team-best 23.0 points and 8.4 rebounds per game over eight contests. Michael Eley (14.1 ppg., 5.5 rpg.) has also been limited to 11 games due to injury. Giovanni Emeruju has started all 20 games for Siena, averaging 10.6 ppg. and 6.4 rpg., shooting 55.2 percent. Zek Tekin (10.3 ppg.) rounds out the Saints' double-figures scorers, while dishing out a team-high 3.5 assists per game.
- Siena leads the all-time series with the Broncs, 39-20. The series has been closer at Alumni Gym, with the Saints' advantage cut to 19-14. The Broncs look to salvage a split vs. the Saints for the third-straight season.
