NEWARK, NJ – The Rider University men's swimming and diving team was defeated Saturday at NJIT, 195-105. The Broncs fall to 5-3 on the season, while the Highlanders improve to 6-2.
The Bronc men won four events in the meet.
Ethan Rogowski (Waterford, NY/Shenendehowa) got the first win of the day for the Broncs in the 1,000-free, swimming 9:33.53.
Matthew Borovik (Deerfield, IL/Deerfield) earned the win in the 100-breast, stopping the clock at 57.46.
In the 200-breast,
Maxwell Connelly (Kinnelon, NJ/Kinnelon) earned the win in the 200-breast with a time of 2:05.40.
David Rucci (Sewell, NJ/Gateway Regional) got the final Rider victory of the day, winning the 200-IM in 1:54.53.
