What You Need To Know
- Rider continues MAAC play Sunday, when it travels to Marist.
- Rider has won two in a row, both at home, over Canisius in overtime on Jan. 7 and Manhattan on Jan. 12.
- Corey McKeithan forced overtime with a three vs. Canisius and Mervin James (21 points) scored four-straight in the extra session to put Rider on top for good.
- James has scored in double figures in all 16 games this season, including eight with 20 points or more, all coming in the last 11 contests.
- T.J. Weeks Jr. scored his 1,000th collegiate career Jan. 12 vs. Manhattan. He scored the first 843 points in four years at UMass before transferring to Rider. 
 - Mervin James was named MAAC Player of the Week on Dec. 26 for averaging 22.5 points, 9.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 3.0 blocks per game in the two overtime decisions. He scored 25 points at Delaware and added 20 against Penn.
- James leads the MAAC at 20.5 points per game and is fourth at 7.3 rpg.
- Allen Powell became the 42nd Rider player to score 1,000 career points against Stonehill on Dec. 8. Already a 1,000-point scorer for his collegiate career entering the season, including 620 in two seasons at North Alabama, James became Rider's 43rd 1,000-point scorer with his 1,000th as a Bronc Dec. 29 at Penn State. 
- Marist is led by Max Allen II at 12.4 points per game, while Josh Pascarelli also averages in double figures at 10.6 ppg. Jadin Collins has added 9.0 ppg. to go along with a team-high 3.2 assists per game. Jackson Price (7.3 ppg.), Jaden Daughtry (6.6 ppg., 4.8 rpg.) and Isaiah Brickner (6.3 ppg., 5.4 rpg.) have also made solid contributions. 
- Rider leads the all-time series with Marist, 42-26. The Broncs are 18-4 against Marist under Head Coach Kevin Baggett, including a 9-1 mark at McCann Arena. The lone loss came Feb. 23, 2016.
- 12th-year Head Coach Kevin Baggett's teams have posted a 182-177 record. Baggett won MAAC Coach of the Year in 2015 and 2018.
- Only John Carpenter (292) and Thomas Leyden (187) have more wins at Rider.
