QUOTES & NOTES
"It was great to see the team compete after a shaky first set. Virginia is a big and fast ACC team, so once we were able to settle into their tempo and height, we found ways to frustrate them at times. They won the serve battle, but we saw a lot of positives we can take away from the match."
"Brynn showed some good blocking decisions, Kianny was able to score against a big block, and we had some youth get in and make some impacts in their first match. Keegan was great all night, and Ryley gritted through a good performance. Quick turnaround to play North Carolina A&T tomorrow, so we'll see how we adjust to a different style of opponent."
