TUCSON, AZ – Danny Kirwin of the Rider University baseball team was named a Third-Team All-America relief pitcher by Collegiate Baseball to highlight the graduate student's exceptional season.
 
Kirwin, who was recently named to the NCBWA Stopper of the Year Watch List, has been the anchor for the Broncs' bullpen this season. He is 6-2 with a 2.12 ERA and a MAAC-leading 14 saves this season. His 14 saves currently rank second in the country. Kirwin struck out a team-high 64 batters in just 46.2 innings during the regular season.
 
Rider begins play at the NCAA Conway Regional on Friday against host Coastal Carolina. First pitch is scheduled for 7 p.m.
