What You Need To Know
- All games in the 2023 MAAC Tournament will take place at Clover Stadium, home of the Frontier League's New York Boulders. The Bracket for the tournament is available
here. Rider will be the final team to open play in the tournament when it plays its first game on Thursday at 3 p.m.

- Tickets are required for all games and can be purchased either daily or for all sessions
here.

- The Broncs entered the 2022 MAAC Tournament as the five-seed before advancing to the MAAC Championship Game for a second consecutive year.

- Rider was picked to finish third in the 2023 MAAC Preseason Coaches' Poll.

- The Broncs won their regular-season finale to enter the postseason at 32-18 overall and 14-7 in MAAC play, securing the two seed in the 2023 MAAC Tournament.

- Rider has won 10 of 12 weekend series this season. In addition to their weekend success, the Broncs won three midweek games to claim the Liberty Bell Classic Championship at Citizens Bank Park, behind five innings with just one run allowed from
PJ Craig (Barnegat, NJ/Barnegat) in the championship game. The Broncs also got a top-10 win over Duke when
Luke Lesch (Gloucester Township, NJ/Gloucester Catholic), who had previously homered to tie the game 1-1, broke the tie in the top of the ninth with an RBI double.

Brian Skettini (Midland Park, NJ/Ridgewood) earned Second-Team All-MAAC honors at catcher this season. The junior leads the Broncs with a .310 average and is second on the team with 43 RBIs and third on the team with 43 runs scored.

Socrates Bardatsos (Ridgefield, NJ/St. Joseph's Regional), who splits time behind the plate with Skettini as well as being the team's primary designated hitter, is second on the team with 30 walks, and is fifth on the team with 51 hits.

Brendan O'Donnell (Malvern, PA/Great Valley), a Second-Team All-MAAC selection and MAAC All-Tournament Team honoree in 2022 and 2023 Preseason All-American, leads the Broncs with 12 home runs and 47 RBIs. He enters the tournament just one home run shy of tying the program's career home run record.

Scott Shaw (Cherry Hill, NJ/Cherry Hill West), who leads the team with 47 runs scored, and
Richie Sica (Wycoff, NJ/Ramapo), who has a perfect fielding percentage this season, round out the outfield for the Broncs.

- Lesch, who is second on the team with six home runs, 2021 MAAC Tournament MVP
Jordan Erbe (Toms River, NJ/Toms River South[UMass]),
John Volpe (Sea Girt, NJ/Wall), who leads the team and ranks 10
th in the MAAC with 16 steals, and
Jack Winsett (Voorhees, NJ/Eastern), who sits second on the team with a .292 average, make up the Rider infield.

- Eight of Rider's batters have recorded 100 career hits.

- Rider leads the MAAC and ranks 19
th in the nation with a 4.27 team ERA.

- The Broncs' rotation has been led by Second-Team All-MAAC pitcher
Frank Doelling (Riverside, NJ/Riverside). Doelling has led the rotation this season with a 5-2 record, pitching to a 3.92 ERA and 52 strikeouts in 62.0 innings.
Dylan Heine (Haddonfield, NJ/Haddonfield) is 4-3 with a 4.72 ERA and boasts a 42-17 strikeout to walk ratio.
Brian Young (Neptune, NJ/Communication) went 5-6 with a 6.39 ERA and 48 strikeouts during the regular season.

- The bullpen will be led by MAAC Relief Pitcher of the Year
Danny Kirwin (Lansdale, PA/North Penn), who is 6-1 with a 1.91 ERA and a MAAC-leading 13 saves this season. His 13 saves currently rank third in the country. Kirwin struck out a team-high 62 batters in just 42.1 innings during the regular season.

Alec Sachais (Egg Harbor Twp., NJ/Holy Spirit) has been another key on the mound out of the pen, posting a 4-2 record with a 2.52 ERA in 20 appearances, including the win in Rider's victory over defending national runners-up Oklahoma.

Clayton Poliey (Ringwood, NJ/Don Bosco Prep) has a 3-1 record with a 3.23 ERA in 19 appearances out of the pen, earning MAAC All-Rookie Team honors.

- The Broncs have been deadly when leading late in contests, posting a record of 26-5 when leading or tied after six innings, 23-3 when leading or tied after seven innings, and 27-1 when leading or tied after eight innings.

- Fairfield finished the regular season 16-5 in conference play to claim the number one seed in the MAAC Tournament. The Stags have won the MAAC Regular Season Championship in each of the last three seasons.

- The Stags are one of the top offensive teams in the country, ranking fourth nationally in batting average at .325 and second in the nation in scoring at 9.7 runs per game. Charlie Pagliarini earned MAAC Player of the Year honors after leading the conference with a .407 batting average and 21 home runs.

- Canisius earned the three-seed in the tournament, going 16-8 in MAAC play during the regular season. The Golden Griffins are led by MAAC Pitcher of the Year Matt Duffy, who ranks fifth in the country with 113 strikeouts.

- The tournament field is rounded out by Quinnipiac, who is led by MAAC Coach of the Year, John Delaney, Niagara, and Manhattan, the only team to win the regular season series over the Broncs this year.
