"Comes down to tomorrow if we want to extend our season," said Rider Head Coach
Tom Battaglia. "We had numerous opportunities today that we let slip past us. Starts on the doubles court and we just aren't getting the job done. All hope isn't lost and still have a great opportunity tomorrow."
The Broncs return to action tomorrow, when they play host to Niagara at Hopewell Tennis Club in Pennington. First serve is scheduled for 5 p.m. With a win, the Broncs would clinch a berth in the MAAC Championships, to be played next Saturday and Sunday at Mercer County Tennis Center in West Windsor. A berth would be the Broncs' first in the current four-team format in program history. The win would also clinch a share of the league regular season championship, with the standings currently bunched up with six of seven teams tied with two in the loss column.
