Kevin Baggett has been named a finalist for the Ben Jobe Coach of the Year Award, CollegeInsider.com today announced. The Ben Jobe Award is presented annually to the top Division I minority coach and is named in honor of Ben Jobe, best known for his time as Head Coach at Southern University, where his 15
th-seeded Jaguars knocked off second-seeded Georgia Tech in the 1993 NCAA Tournament. The recognition marks the fourth time Baggett has been included on the list (2013, 2015, 2018).
Baggett has led the Broncs to a 16-13 overall record and a second-place finish in the MAAC this season. He's overseen the development of All-MAAC First Team selection

The Broncs open MAAC Championship play in Wednesday's Quarterfinals against the winner of Tuesday's Opening Round match-up between No. 7 Fairfield and No. 10 Saint Peter's. The Broncs' Wednesday tip-off is scheduled for 9:30 p.m. from Jim Whelan Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, NJ, on ESPN+.
