Tariq Ingraham (Philadelphia, PA/Bonner-Prendergast [Wake Forest]) had a career-high 20 points, eight rebounds and three blocks as the Rider University men's basketball team earned a 73-60 road win at Saint Peter's Thursday night. With the win and a Siena loss to Manhattan, Rider (16-12, 13-6 MAAC) has clinched the No. 2 seed in the MAAC Championships. Saint Peter's slips to 11-17 (6-13 MAAC) with the loss.
A back-and-forth first half that featured eight lead changes and four times ended with the Broncs on a 10-0 run to take their largest lead to that point going to the locker room at halftime.
Dwight Murray, Jr. (Austell, GA/Pebblebrook [Incarnate Word]) scored all seven of his first-half points to spark the run, while Ingraham (Philadelphia, PA/Bonner-Prendergast [Wake Forest]) punctuated it with a three-point play at the 1:10 mark. Ingraham led the Broncs with 11 points and six rebounds, while Murray added five rebounds and two assists.
Allen Powell (Philadelphia, PA/La Salle College HS) also added eight points on a pair of three's and 2-for-2 shooting from the line. Saint Peter's shot 50.0 percent (12-24) in the first half, including 55.6 percent (5-9) from long range, to Rider's 48.1 percent (13-27) overall and 50.0 percent (5-10) from deep.|

Kevin Baggett's teams are 15-10 against Saint Peter's, including a 9-3 mark in Jersey City.

- Powell was the Broncs' next-highest scorer with 15 points on 4-of-6 shooting from long range and 3-of-4 from the free-throw line. The four three-pointers made are his most of the season and his most since hitting 5-of-7 in the 2022 MAAC Semifinals vs. Monmouth.
