Box Score NORMAN, OK – The Rider University baseball team fell to Oklahoma 11-1 in seven innings in the rubber game of the three-game set on Sunday. The Broncs fall to 4-3 on the season, while the Sooners get back to .500 at 4-4.
Oklahoma got on the board in the second, scoring on a two-out double to take a 1-0 lead.

Scott Shaw (Cherry Hill, NJ/Cherry Hill West) launched a 2-0 pitch over the wall in right to even the game at 1-1.
The game remained tied into the bottom of the fifth. The inning started innocently enough with a simple ground out, but the next five Sooners reached safely to build a 5-1 lead. Oklahoma added on two more runs with two outs, making it a 7-1 game.
The Sooners added on two runs in both the sixth and the seventh to secure the victory.
