What You Need To Know
- Rider plays host to Mount St. Mary's Sunday on ESPN+. The Mountaineers visit Alumni Gym for the first time since Feb. 28, 1997, in the NEC Quarterfinals.
- The Broncs snapped a two-game skid with a 69-66 win over Siena Friday. Allen Powell went for a season-high 24 points, while Dwight Murray, Jr. scored 17 points and Mervin James posted his team-leading fifth double-double.
- Rider took sole possession of second place in the MAAC and clinched a MAAC Championship Opening Round bye with the win over Siena.
- The Broncs will welcome back the 1993 Northeast Conference Regular Season and Tournament Champion and NCAA Tournament qualifying team Sunday in celebration of the 30th Anniversary of the team's accomplishments.
- Ajiri Ogemuno-Johnson tied Mike Ringgold for the program games played record (133) on Friday. He'd break the record Sunday upon entry into the game. 
- Dwight Murray, Jr. continues to be the Broncs' do-it-all point guard, averaging 16.6 ppg., shooting 39.6 percent from deep. Murray's 3.0 assists and 1.5 steals per game are best on the team and his 5.0 rebounds are third.
- Rider leads the all-time series with Mount St. Mary's, 14-12. The Broncs and Mountaineers met for the first time as MAAC foes after playing 13 times in the Broncs' five seasons in the NEC, including nine times over their last three seasons in the conference from 1994-95 through 1996-97.
- The Mount is led by Jalen Benjamin at 15.6 points and 4.0 assists per game, while shooting 39.1 percent from long range. Dakota Leffew has added 13.1 ppg., while Malik Jefferson is the Mountaineers top interior presence at 8.6 points and 6.8 rebounds per game, while shooting 52.1 percent.
- 11th-year Head Coach Kevin Baggett's teams have posted a 176-163 record. Baggett won MAAC Coach of the Year in 2015 and 2018.
- Only John Carpenter (292) and Thomas Leyden (187) have more wins at Rider.
