Langan countered with an and-one, then with 48 seconds remaining, Deveney knocked down a pair of free-throws to tie the game back up at 56-56, but with 5.9 seconds remaining, Grace LaBarge drained a three-pointer that would give the Bobcats the eventual game-winning points. Firebaugh got a look at a tying three at the final buzzer, but the shot drew iron.
Quotes & Notes
"It was a really good game and we just came up a little short at the end. We're starting to see what we're capable of and it's definitely something to build on. We've got to shoot the ball better. We got some good looks and they didn't go."
"We executed exactly what we drew at the end of the game and god two good looks. We got the looks we wanted. We felt like if we could win the rebounding battle, we could win the game, and it was a push."
