LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ – Anthony Corbi has been hired as Assistant Athletic Director for Video and Live Event Production. A Rider alum, Corbi previously served as a crew member on the BroncVision live event production team for four years before being promoted to this position upon graduation.
"Tony will be a great addition to our staff," said Karin Torchia, Senior Associate Director of Athletics/SWA. "His position as assistant ad for video and live events is crucial to the department and will help us continue to increase the visibility of athletics and the University overall. In serving as a member of our BroncVision student staff over the last four years, Tony became trusted with producing and directing our live ESPN3/+ events early on and has already enhanced our broadcasts since his hire as a full-time employee. He brings a unique skill-set and experience to the position and I'm looking forward to working with him."
As a student at Rider, Corbi joined the BroncVision video and live event broadcast team as a camera operator during his freshman year and was promoted to technical director for select productions by the end of his first semester. In 2021, Corbi began regularly serving as technical director and graphics operator for each broadcast and subsequently produced several events throughout 2022.
In 2022, Corbi served as a broadcast intern with the Philadelphia Union of Major League Soccer. Part of his responsibilities included editing video segments for the Union's official broadcasts on PHL17, researching information for in-game graphics and being in the production truck on Union game days.
Corbi is a 2022 graduate of Rider University with a degree in Sports Media. He attended Lenape High School where he served as a production assistant for Lenape District Television's sports broadcasts. He grew up in Glassboro, New Jersey, and currently resides in Mount Laurel, New Jersey.
