BOSTON, MA and UNIVERSITY PARK, PA-  The Rider University Men's Track and Field team finished up their weekend as they wrapped up action at the John Thomas Terrier Classic and the Penn State National Open.

In Boston, the DMR team of Noah Taylor, Jerome Boyer, Derian Stianche, and Tamrat Snyder as well as the team of Nathan Armstrong, Mali Coleman, Richie Castaneda, and Gobi Thurairajah were able to get ECAC/IC4A qualifying marks with times of 9:52.44 and 10:02.07 respectively. 

In University Park, Riders weekend was highlighted by a strong day one from Jacob Eddinger and Marques Merriweather. Eddinger finished with a 17.14 mark which was good for 16th overall in the field of 30 throwers on the weekend. Merriweather finished fifth overall at Penn St with a time of 8.16 in the prelims, 8.12 in the finals, both of which are ECAC/IC4A qualifying marks.

Stianche had a great weekend. He always shows up on the relay and he ran a great leg today. He has made a ton of progress and I am really proud of him. "
