Quotes and Notes
"We had some strong performances today at the Mason Spring Invitational. This is a high level meet that provided a lot of top notch competition for our athletes. We had some athletes that definitely rose to that occasion. We had hoped to get more athletes to compete at that high level but we will need to keep working at it."
"Merriweather had another big meet setting two new PRs in the 110 and 400 hurdles and getting the IC4A standard again in the 110 hurdles. He has been consistently good all year so it is no surprise that he had a great meet. He is an athlete that others can learn from and hope to emulate some day. He shows up every day ready to get better and then performs on meet day. This is what big time athletes do."
"The men's 4x400 ran a really nice race to go the wire with Saint Joseph's. They are a prideful group that steps up for the relay each week."
"DuBard had a big day setting two new PRs in the shot and discus. He is developing nicely and is on the verge of a really big breakthrough." -
Rider Head Coach Bob Hamer
