LEWISBURG, PA and PRINCETON, NJ– The Rider University Women's Track and Field Team competed at Day 1 of the Bison Outdoor Classic and the Larry Ellis Invite on Friday.
At the Bison Classic,
Teagan Schein-Becker set the new Rider record in the 1500 with her an ECAC qualification and was event winning time of 4:19.19.
Mackenzie Greenfield also set the new #6 Rider record in the 1500 at 4:33.32, also an ECAC qualifier time. Oliva de la Torre Coca also set the #6 Rider record in the 1500 with her 4:38.99 time before Greenfield set another. In the 5k,
Jordan O'Neill set the new #7 Rider record at 17:27.69.
At the Larry Ellis Invite,
Raisa Thunig set the #5 Rider record in the long jump at 5.56m, followed by
Samantha Butler setting the #10 Rider record at 5.45m.
